Day 01 : Arrive Delhi

Day 02 : Delhi - Amritsar
Morning transfer to Airport / Railway station to boar dthe flight/ Train for Amritsar. On arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon Visit to Wagah Border to watch retreat ceremony (42 kms) on the road to Lahore is India-Pakistan Border. A visit to the border is an interesting experience especially at evening, when the retreat ceremony takes place with the Border Security Force on the Indian Side and the Sutlej Rangers on the Pakistan side putting up a well coordinated and spectacular display. The sound from the Bugles blown together from both sides paints past on the canvas when India and Pakistan were one, simultaneously Flags of the two nations are ceremoniously retrieved and lights are switched on marking the end of the day. Amidst thunderous applause today this point is the only land route open to approach Pakistan and central Asia. Drive back to Amritsar for overnight stay.
Day 03 : Amritsar - Dharamshala
Morning visit The Golden Temple- the holy scripture is brought in a vivid procession from the Akal Takhat (the highest temporal seat of the Sikhs religion) in the morning. Singing is central to Sikh worship & is a feast to the souls when hymns from the holy scripture are recited Kirtan and the waves of the classical ragas, a sublime blend of voice & music.
Also visit Jallianwala Bagh- Martyrs' Memorial built in the shape of eternal flame of liberty is situated on the outskirts of Golden Temple. Here about 1500 and 2000 persons who were attending a peaceful meeting during the freedom movement fell under the bullets of the British General Dyer on 13 April 1919 and the city of Amritsar.
After sightseeing, drive to dharamsala (200 kms/ 5 hrs) to reach by evening . On arrival transfer to hotel for overnight stay. It is an Altitude of 2080 Metre heights and the Home of His Holiness Dalai Lama. Afternoon visit the Monastery of His Highness Dalai Lama. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 04 : Dharmshala
Morning visit the Monastery of His Highness Dalai Lama. Afternoon visit Baijnath Temple_one of the Jyothirlingas. Rest day free to relax. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 05 : Dharmshala - Chandigarh
Morning drive to Chandigarh (330 Kms/ 7 hrs) to connect Train / Flight to reach Delhi. On arrival check in to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 06 : Delhi city tour
Morning city tour of Old Delhi covering Raj Ghat - the memorial at the site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, Jama Mosque - the largest Mosque in India and the Red Fort - Once the most opulent fort and palace of the Mughal Empire.
Afternoon tour of New Delhi covering Humayun's Tomb, Lotus Temple, the Qutab Minar, drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House and President's Residence and end the tour with a drive through Diplomatic Enclave. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Morning after a leisurely breakfast at hotel free at leisure. Later transfer to airport to connect flight for onward destination.
