Day 01 : Delhi
Arrive at Delhi International Airport. Meet our executive & transfer to hotel. Rest of the dat at leisure (depending on your arrival flight timing). Overnight stay.
Day 02 : Delhi city tour.
Morning have your breakfast and leave Delhi city tour. Morning city tour of Old Delhi covering Raj ghat - the memorial at the site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, Jama Mosque - the largest Mosque in India and the Red Fort - Once the most opulent fort and palace of the Mughal Empire, Chandini Chowk the most happening and busiest shopping place in Delhi. Afternoon tour of New Delhi covering Humayun's Tomb, Lotus Temple, the Qutab Minar, drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House and President's Residence and end the tour with a drive through Diplomatic Enclave. Evening free at leisure or watch the light and sound show in Red fort. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 : Delhi - Agra by road
Morning drive to Agra (210 Kms / 4.5 hrs). On arrival check in to your pre booked hotel. Afternoon leave for half day Agra tour covering Sikandra the gigantic mosque of great Mughal Emperor Akbar. Then you will come face to face with one of the Seven Wonders of the World, India's most perfect architectural creation, the monument of eternal love, the Taj Mahal in sunset. Behold its magnificent structure, observe its intricate detailing and craftsmanship, and gaze in awe as you linger on beautifully landscaped gardens. Later visit the impressive Agra Fort and allow yourself to be led through a multitude of chambers in this regal residence. As you drive through the city you will also get a taste of the local life and bazaars, and the hustle bustle of everyday India life. Evening free for shopping in local handicraft market. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 : Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur
Morning have your breakfast in hotel and then drive to Jaipur (235 K. ms/ 5 hrs) with a stopover to discover the deserted capital city of Fatehpur Sikri, an epic poem in red sandstone. It was built by the great Mughal Emperor, Akbar, as his capital and palace in the late 16th century and was larger than London of the time. It was abandoned 14 years after it was built, when the local wells went dry, and it remains today in much the same condition that it was in over 300 years ago. It is complete with palaces and mosques and is an extraordinary place to wander, with its buildings in near perfect condition.
Continue the drive for Jaipur. On arrival check in to hotel.
Evening excursion to Chokhi dhani - the ethnic Rajasthani luxury village resorts to enjoy the cultural evening to witness the Rajasthani village life style and food with Camel ride, bullock cart ride etc. followed by exclusive Rajasthani dinner on SIT DOWN ON FLOOR style. Return back to hotel for overnight. .
Day 05 : Jaipur city tour
Morning excursion to the Amber Fort to follow an old tradition and ride up to the Fort on an Elephant back.
It is built high atop a hillside overlooking Maota Lake. The fort palace was the early seat of the Amber kings before they made the fort their capital. It was a frequent stopping point of Mughal emperor Akbar on his annual pilgrimage to Ajmer, India's most holy shrine. Your guide will escort you through the gardens, halls of public and private audience, and labyrinth of hallways and passages leading to the royal apartments buried deep within the fort. Built in red sandstone and white marble, the fort is a wonderful example of blended Hindu and Mughal architecture.
Later visit the other important monuments of Jaipur covering City Palace where many a royal treasure is preserved, including the world's largest silver vessels. Then, experience the unique Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds) and witness the wonder of a I7th Century observatory with its 28 meters high sundial. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 06 : Jaipur - Samode - Delhi
Morning have your breakfast at hotel and leave for Delhi (300 Kms/ 8 hrs) enroute stopping at Samode. Samode is a place of great interest for people who appreciate culture and local arts. The village or town is famous for its magnificent havelis, mansions and handicrafts.
Samode palace belongs to the Rawals of Samode, who do not belong to a royal family but are affluent noblemen. This family was bestowed the title of "Maha Rawal" by the royal family as a reward for their loyalty and courage. The Samode Palace is about four hundred years old and has gone through a lot of restoration work. Many new additions have been made to this old palace, which is now a heritage hotel.
Upon arrival at Samode Palace, visit the Sheesh Mahal and then drive for about a kilometer up to the point from where you will be provided Camel Ride for 2 km & reach Samode bagh (this is a great way to take a tour of the Samode village and check out the local traditions & colors of the town). Have a buffet lunch in Royal style in Samode Palace and drive back to Delhi to reach by evening. On arrival check in to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 07 : Delhi departure
Morning have a leisurely breakfast. Day for free for last minutes shopping or transfer to airport to board the flight onward journey with a memorable tour with us.
