Morning after breakfast leave for a halfday excursion to Elephanta caves - 1200 years old and dedicated to Lord Shiva by boat.
Afternoon visit Gateway of India -an impressive arch overlooking the harbour welcomes you to the city, the Prince of Wales Museum with its fascinating Indo-Saracenic exterior and equally fascinating interior of rare Mogul paintings, exquisite jades and exciting natural history specimens, Flora Fountain, the Haji Ali Mosque surrounded by the sea etc. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 : Mumbai - Rajkot (by air)
Morning transfer to airport to board the flight for Rajkot. On arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon city tour covering Kaba Gandhi Delo - Gandhiji's ancestral home, Watson Museum & library located in the pleasant Jubilee Garden , Lal Pari Lake & Randerda - a picturesque picnic spot. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 : Rajkot - Bhuj
After breakfast drive to Bhuj, Upon arrival proceed to DSP/Collector office to obtain the permit (Please all foreign clients need to obtain the permit for Banny village visit) ** Note: 2nd & 4th Saturday & Public holidays are closed at DSP/COLLECTOR office hence set the dates accordingly. Evening visit to the Bhuj city and market. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 : Bhuj - Fullday visit to the Banny villages
Fullday excursion to the Banny villages to see various typical villages to see the traditional art and culture of Gujarat. Drive back to Bhuj for overnight.
Day 06 : Bhuj to Jamnagar
After breakfast at 5.30 AM drive to Jamnagar. Afternoon visit to the Jamnagar city including the tie and dye market etc. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07 : Jamnagar - Junagadh - Sasangir (200 kms, 5 hrs)
Morning drive to Sasangir enroute visiting Junagadh - An ancient fortified city rich in Myth & Legend. Visit Uparkot Fort - famous for its virtual inaccessibility, Ashoka's Rock edicts - the fourteen rock edicts of the Emperor Ashoka, Damodar Kund - A sacred tank. On arrival in Sasangir, check in into hotel. Overnight at hotel.
