Jaisalmer Desert Festival (February)

Destination : Delhi-Jodhpur-Jaisalmer-Udaipur -Dungarpur- Deogarh-Jaipur –Agra - Delhi
Jaisalmer the beautiful desert, golden city have the festival in the month of February every year. You can enjoy the Rajasthan tour with thre days colour ful festival in Jaisalmer. Camel rides and folk dances at the sand dunes at Sun are an added attraction.
Day 01: Arrive Delhi:
Arrival at the International airport. Meet and assist by our representative and transfer to hotel. Afternoon sight seeing of Delhi covering Qutab minar, Lotus temple, Red fort, India gate etc. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Delhi – Jodhpur by flight – Jaisalmer by road
Mornig after breakfast transfer to airport to board the flight for Jodhpur. On arrival meet and assist by our representative and drive to Jaisalmer. Check in to hotel. Evening enjoy the folk dances and other cultural activities at the site of Desert festival. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 : Jaisalmer
Morning sight seeing of Jaisalmer covering the golden-hued Jaisalmer fort , Nathmaji ki Haveli, Patwon ki Haveli, Salim singh ki Haveli.
Afternoon transfer to Sand dune the desert site by Cemel back. Evening watch the sunset in desert. Later experience the night campaigning in the desert. Also enjoy the cultural evening around the bon fire and have the exclusive Rajasthani Dinner at the Camp. Overnight
Day 04 : Jaisalmer-Jodhpur
Morning free at leisure. After lunch drive back to Jodhpur. On arrival check in to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 05 : Jodhpur - Udaipur
In the morning visit Mehrangarh fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace, Sardar Market and Jaswant thada. Later drive through forested and tribal areas of Aravalli ranges and visit superb Ranakpur Jain temples on the way. Upon arrival check in to hotel for overnight.
Day 06 : Udaipur
After breakfast leave for the sightseeing of Udaipur covering City Palace, Saheliyon ki Bari. Jagdish temple etc. Afternoon enjoy the boat ride in in Lake Pichola. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07: Dungarpur
Transfer to Dungarpur. Arrive and check in Udai Bilas Palace- a beautiful lonely palace. Later visit Juna Mahal having stunning interiors with a series of colorfully painted chambers.
Day 08 : Dungarpur - Deogarh
After a leisurely breakfast, drive to Deogarh. Enroute visit Chittogarh. Stay in Deogarh Mahal - a palace of great character and ambience.
Day 09 : Deogarh
The whole day on your discretion. Suggested visit to Molela village (famous for terracotta crafts) or Kumbhalgarh Fort. Option of taking a unique safari on horses to the villages in this region of rugged terrain.
Day 10 : Deogarh - Jaipur
Morning after breakfast drive to Jaipur. On arrival check in the hotel. Evening free to walk in interesting local craft and jwellery bazaars.
Day 11 : Jaipur
Morning excursion to Amber Fort by Elephant back famous for its interior fresco paintings. Afternoon visit City palace, Jantar mantar – the observatory Hawa mahal etc. Evening you can enjoy the Rajsthani dinner in Chokhidhani. Overnight at hotel.
Day 12 : Jaipur – Faehpur Sikri – Agra
Morning drive to Agra. Enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri - the abandoned citadel of Mughal Emperor Akbar. Finally reach Agra and check in. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 13 : Agra - Delhi
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of Agra which includes the most beautiful monument and seven wonders of World - The Taj, Agra Fort. Agra fort etc. Later checkout from the hotel and transfer to Delhi. Arrive and check in to hotel for overnight.
Day 14 : Delhi departure
Morning free at leisure or free for last minutes shopping. Evening transfer to airport to board the flight for onward journey.
