The Ellora Cave Festival

Destination : Mumbai-Aurangabad-Mumbai-Udaipur-Chittorgarh-Kota-
Ranthambhore-Jaipur-Agra-New Delhi

The magnificent rock-cut caves at at Ellora are famous Buddhist, Hindu and Jain caves. Every March, a festival of dance and music is organised with the caves forming a splendid backdrop to worth visit.
The colourfull painting on the walls of these caves represents the Buddhist,Hindu and Jain thoughts. Some of these enigmatic caves are illuminated by the natural light at a particular time of the day.
Below is the sample tour programme with other important places of India to wrth visit…..


Day 01: Mumbai

Arrival, meet & greet at the commercial capital of India and transferred to the hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure. Over night at the hotel.

Day 02: Aurangabad
Depart for Aurangabad by air. Check-in the hotel. Later proceed for Excursion to Ellora caves. Over night at the hotel.

Day 03: Aurangabad
Proceed for full day sight seeing to Ajanta Caves. Evening at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 04: Mumbai
Board the flight to Mumbai and arrive and check in. Rest of the day at leisure. Over night at the hotel.

Day 05:- Udaipur
In the morning board the flight to Udaipur. Arrive and check in. Half-day sightseeing trip of City Palace and Saheliyon ki Bari. Evening free to explore the interesting labyrinths around Jagdish temple on your own. Over night at the hotel.

Day 06: Udaipur
Morning free to enjoy the stay in the Lake Palace. Proceed for an excursion to Ranakpur Jain temples. Boatride sightseeing of Lake Pichhola at sunset.

Day 07: Udaipur – Chittorgarh – Kota
Morning drive to visit the Kota. Enroute vist Chittorgarh. The Chittorgarh fort is the symbol of Rajput chivalry, pride and honor. Later continue the drtive to visit ancient carved temples of Menal and the route and the route covers glimpses of unspoiled tribal life. Reach Kota late afternoon. Rest of the day at leisure. Over night at hotel.

Day 08: Kota – Bundi – Ranthambore
Morning after having breakfast in hotel leave for Ranthambore. Enroute visit Bundi – a small heritage town of Rajasthan.

Day 09 : Ranthamore
Morning jungle safari in National park to watch Indian tigers. Afternoon have a afternoon safari in either jeep or Indian Elephant. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10: Ranthamobore - Jaipur
Morning sight seeing of Sawai madhopur. Later drive to Jaipur. Day free at leisure. Overnight.

Day 11: Jaipur
Proceed for sightseeing of the City Palace and Amber Fort. Evening at leisure. Over night at the hotel..

Day 12: Agra
Morning drive through Fatehpur Sikri - the abandoned citadel of Mughal emperor Akbar. Transfer to Agra and later visit the most beautiful monument of love- The Taj. Also see Agra Fort during the day. Evening free on own. Over night at the hotel.

Day 13: New Delhi
Morning drive to Delhi After checking in move out for sightseeing of Old & New Delhi (Shahajahanabad) and Lutyen's Delhi (New Delhi). Evening free to shop around the busy Connaught Place. Over night at the hotel.

Day 14: Departure
Morning sight seeing of Delhi covering Red fort, Jama masjid, Raj ghat, Lotus temple, Qutab minar and India gate etc. Evening after dinner transfer to International airport to board the flight for onward journey.
